Having trained across a wide range of clinical areas, I developed an early interest in Neuro Physiotherapy. I gained invaluable experience working in specialist units with people affected by both congenital and acquired neurological conditions, including stroke, Parkinson’s disease, multiple sclerosis, cerebral palsy and acquired brain injury.

I later moved into specialist care homes, promoting long-term rehabilitation and care for a wide range of residents, including people with complex physical and learning disabilities. This experience reinforced my belief in the importance of person-centred rehabilitation, supporting independence, function and quality of life over the long term. I continue to support patients both in a clinical setting and, where appropriate, in their own homes.

At the heart of my work is helping people — regardless of ability — to achieve their fullest potential and work towards the goals that matter most to them. I firmly believe that rehabilitation and recovery do not have a time limit, and that improvement is always worth striving for.

I take a holistic, whole-body approach to treatment and remain committed to ongoing learning and professional development. I am continually fascinated by how our bodies work and how thoughtful, individualised therapy can lead to meaningful change.

Outside of work, I enjoy running in the countryside with my two dogs, spending time with my grandchildren, and attending the occasional festival. I also have a strong interest in animal and environmental welfare and am an active campaigner for causes close to my heart.
